Cookie Policy Generator
Your Cookie Policy is linked-to from the built-in cookie consent mechanism and an integral part of your GDPR compliance.
You’ll be asked a few quick questions about any tracking you use, such as visitor analytics or advertising cookies and we’ll generate a tailored, compliant cookie policy for your form.
Question 1: Are you using performance and/or analytics tracking?
This refers to tools that monitor how visitors use your website or form, helping you understand behaviour, measure performance, and improve user experience.
Common examples include:
- Google Analytics
- Facebook Pixel
- Matomo
- Hotjar
If you’re using any of these tools (or similar), you must inform users and get their consent before setting cookies, as required under GDPR and UK privacy law.
Select Yes and tick the relevant options, if you’re using any analytics or tracking tools, even for basic visitor stats.
You can easily add other tracking tools by ticking “Add Custom” and entering the providers name and cookie policy link.
Question 2: Are you using targeting or advertising tracking?
This refers to cookies and scripts used for targeting users with ads, tracking conversions, or retargeting visitors across platforms. These cookies collect data about a user’s browsing habits to deliver more relevant advertising and require explicit consent under GDPR and UK privacy law.
Common examples include:
- Google Ads (including remarketing tags)
- META (Facebook/Instagram Pixel)
- LinkedIn Insight Tag
- Bing / Yahoo Ads
- Outbrain tracking
- Reddit Ads tracking
If you use any of these platforms, even just for campaign measurement, select Yes to include them in your cookie policy and ensure proper consent is captured.
You can easily add other advertising platforms by ticking “Add Custom” and entering the advertisers name and their cookie policy link.
